Ok, I didn't hit the cafe up. There was no seating, which I think limits the attractiveness. But the bookstore itself is an absolute gem.  Great staff, large selection of regional offers, and chairs throughout so you can thoroughly review books before you commit.

My husband is a knowledgeable history buff. He goes to the history section first in every book store. This one lacked a single factual war book. It was all propaganda. We left forthwith knowing we would not spend our money there.

We visited this bookstore on our month long visit to Asheville.  I chose my two books, my husband paid for them and asked to use the restroom.  The man who checked him out was extremely rude in telling him the restroom was only for employees.  There was a coffee area, but not a single place to sit as in most other bookstores.  It was a very unsettling experience and we regretted spending our money there.
